Two integrated support structures make up the VX-2 suspension: tubular aluminum stays cross, connecting the top of the pack to the top of the hip belt transferring weight directly to the hips--making sure the pack stays snug against the back, even while moving in different positions. A second setof custom extruding aluminum stays are placed in a V-pattern from the load filters to a small plate connecting to the back of the well-padded hipbelt, stabilizing your pack. Clothes, a sleeping bag, food and gear slide easily into the main chute, with easy side access provided from a front zipper, essential if you don't want to fuss up your gear.
