The North Face Crestone 60 BackpackWe're extremely impressed with the North Face Crestone 60 Pack, as it has proved itself a superior choice for extended backpacking and mountaineering trips. The sturdy main frame supports 60 liters of gear, with two stiff aluminum stays running down the shaft and adjustable load lifters to tailor the angle of your pack. Not only is the setup exceptionally stable, but the X-Frame II Suspension system design distributes gear evenly, while also holding snug against the back while ducking underneath trees or reaching for holds. Likewise, the exceptionally padded hipbelt stablilizes the Crestone 60, along with side compression straps that are nice when you don't stuff the pack. A segmented bottom organizes a sleeping bag, an extra pair of shoes, and miscellaneous gear, with compression straps to secure them.
